Deniz Armagan, DPT
Dr. Armagan has worked in the health industry for over 33 years in various capacities, including work with all levels of athletes and providing community service as a Specialized Clinician. Additionally, he has worked with geriatric, orthopedic, neurology, post-surgical and pediatric patients.
Dr. Armagan believes in a comprehensive holistic and scientific approach when treating patients. He is a Nationally Board Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and has earned many national certifications specializing in movement analysis, strength & conditioning, sports medicine and holistic pain management. He is the host of a local internet radio show, “Performance in Motion,” at WSradio.com. Dr. Armagan is the Head Consultant and Mobile Movement Doctor for his company, Movement 4 Life. His motto is, “YOU WILL PLAY AND MOVE BETTER, LONGER!!!”
Janice Baker, RD, CDE, CNSC
Janice Baker is a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator, certified nutrition support clinician and is board-certified in advanced diabetes management. She was a clinical dietitian and assistant manager of nutrition services at Pomerado Hospital before joining Arch Health Medical Group to provide nutrition and disease management services.
An alumnus of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, she completed her post-graduate dietetic internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned a master’s degree in business administration while working toward her additional certifications in diabetes management and advanced nutrition support.
Rakhi Khatri, MD
Dr. Khatri is board certified in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine. She enjoys helping people and finding solutions to their health problems. She believes that complete physical, mental and emotional health is quintessential to living a full life.
Dr. Khatri's approach involves preventive medicine, including patients in their own decision making, understanding their perspective and educating them on the whole picture.
Namee Kim, MD
Dr. Namee Kim is fellowship trained in cardiovascular disease and board certified in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular medicine. She also is a certified clinical lipidologist and hypertension specialist. Her clinical interests include the role of gender differences in cardiovascular disease and preventive cardiology. She is a member of the Scripps Women’s Heart Center care team.
Dr. Kim received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Johns Hopkins University and went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She completed her internal medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Scripps Clinic in addition to serving as chief fellow.
Aravinda Thatte, RPH, PhD
Ms. Thatte has been a community pharmacist in Rancho Bernardo for more than ten years. She earned a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, a Masters degree in Pharmacology and a PhD in Immunology, with some post-doctoral research experience in the area of Inflammation.
She loves the connections she has made with her patients, and has actively participated in community immunizations and some health fairs. She greatly enjoys her role as a pharmacist — the most accessible health care professional!
