LEGACY GIFTS: These gifts take effect after your lifetime and reflect your values. Consider these options:

  • Will or Trust: Leave a bequest to EBC in your will or trust for a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or whatever may remain after all other bequest are satisfied. Use our official title and address when designating EBC.

  • Retirement Plan: Name EBC as a beneficiary of some or all your retirement account assets.

  • Insurance Policy/Annuity: Designate EBC as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or annuity.

  • Life Income Gift: Includes options like Charitable Gift Annuities.

GIFTS THAT PROVIDE INCOME: Life Income Gifts, such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, offer benefits    such as:

  • Income for the donor (immediate or deferred).

  • An immediate charitable income tax deduction.

  • Tax benefits if funded with appreciated property.

Cash, securities, or real estate can be used to fund the gift instrument. Please ask about our Charitable Gift Annuity or Pooled Income Fund. We’ll provide you with a personalized summary of the income and tax benefits for either type of arrangement, or find some other program that works better for you.

GIFTS OF APPRECIATED SECURITIES: Donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds for a tax deduction and avoid capital gains taxes.

GIFTS OF PROPERTY: Real estate and tangible items like artwork, antiques, and vehicles can be donated directly or sold, with proceeds benefiting EBC.

Donating Your Vehicle: When it is time to give up your keys, you can donate your car to EBC for tax benefits and support our services.
