Classes

EBC offers a variety of classes that help improve your physical and mental health through both exercise and social activities. Check out our instructors to see who teaches the class and our activities calendar to see when they are scheduled.

Chair Yoga

A gentle form of yoga practiced while seated or using a chair for support. Perfect for those with mobility issues or anyone looking for a lower-impact way to enjoy the benefits of yoga, including increased flexibility and stress reduction.

Gentle Yoga

A slow-paced yoga class performed on a mat that focuses on foundational poses, deep breathing, and relaxation. Ideal for people looking for a calming practice to improve flexibility and body awareness. 

We have two options of this class taught by two different instructors.

Stretch Strengthen

This class combines stretching exercises with resistance training using weights and bands. It’s designed to enhance flexibility and build strength in key muscle groups for better overall fitness.

Arthritis & Balance

A class designed to help manage arthritis symptoms through gentle movements that improve balance, strength, and flexibility. The focus is on reducing pain and enhancing mobility through safe, supportive exercises.

RX Ballroom Dancing 
(For Parkinson's ONLY)

A fun and therapeutic class designed specifically for individuals with Parkinson’s. Learn ballroom dance steps to improve balance, coordination, and movement in a supportive environment. No experience required—just come ready to dance!

Pickleball & Tennis Injury Prevention 

Boost your pickleball and tennis game while protecting yourself from injury! This class focuses on strengthening key muscle groups, enhancing agility, and improving your technique. Learn strategies to prevent common injuries and keep yourself playing strong and pain-free.

Fitness

A full-body workout aimed at weight loss and muscle strengthening. This class incorporates cardio and strength exercises to target all major muscle groups, boosting overall fitness levels and endurance.

Balance & Core

This class focuses on improving balance, flexibility, and core strength without the use of weights. You can use take the class on a mat or use a chair for support. 

 

Tai Chi

A beginner-friendly introduction to the ancient Chinese martial art that emphasizes slow, flowing movements. Tai Chi promotes balance, relaxation, and mind-body connection, making it suitable for all fitness levels. We have two options for this class with two different instructors. 

 

Watercolor

Explore the creative and calming world of watercolor painting. This class is perfect for beginners or experienced artists looking to experiment with techniques. We have two options for this class with two different instructors.

Tech Tips

Stay tech-savvy with our Tech Tips lecture series. Learn how to use your phone and computer more effectively with tips and tricks that make technology easier to navigate. Great for beginners and experienced users alike!

Join in for this fun, easy-to-learn card game that’s perfect for socializing! Hand and Foot is a variation of Canasta, offering hours of entertainment and a great way to connect with others.
